What this page is for
This page is for copyright holders submitting DMCA takedown notices about images you own that appear in Face Search AI's search index. If you are the rightful owner of a photograph, illustration, or other copyrighted image and you believe it is being surfaced through our service without authorisation, this is the right place to start.
If you want to remove your own face from search results (a privacy matter, not a copyright matter), do not use this form. Use the dedicated data removal page instead, which handles identity-based removal requests under GDPR, CCPA, and our standard privacy policy.
What information your request must include
To be actionable under the DMCA, your notice must contain all of the following:
- Your full legal name and contact details (email address, phone number, and mailing address).
- A specific URL, or set of URLs, of the infringing material on our service.
- A clear identification of the original copyrighted work, either a link to where it lives online or a written description sufficient to identify it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
How to submit
Send your notice to support@facesearchai.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request". The button above will open your mail client with that subject pre-filled.
We do not require an account to submit. Anyone can email this request.
What happens after you submit
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receipt.
- Review by the Face Search AI team, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
- Removal action where the notice is valid, followed by a confirmation email back to you.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed in error, the same email address accepts a counter-notice. A valid counter-notice must include the same DMCA-required elements listed above (identity, contact details, identification of the removed material, a good-faith statement, and a signature under penalty of perjury). On a valid counter-notice we will restore the content.
What this page does not do
- It is not a removal request for your own face. For that, use /data-removal.
