Is the extension free?
Yes. The extension itself is free to install, and anonymous users keep the same 3 free searches per day they get on the Face Search AI website. Paid plans on the web account carry over if you sign in through the extension.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera). Firefox is on the roadmap; no release date yet. Safari is not currently planned because the WebExtensions story on Safari is too different to share a single codebase.
Does the extension store my browsing history?
No. The extension does not read or store your browsing history. Only the photo you explicitly right-click is sent to the search engine, and only at the moment you trigger a search. Nothing else about the page or your tabs leaves your browser.
Does the daily limit apply to the extension?
Yes. The extension is a thin wrapper around the regular Face Search AI search engine, so the same 3 free searches per day for anonymous users apply. Signed-in users with a paid plan get their plan's daily volume.
How do I remove the extension?
Open chrome://extensions (or the equivalent in your Chromium browser), find Face Search AI Extension, and click Remove. The extension stores no data outside the browser, so removing it is enough to uninstall completely.
